Vi-va Brisvagas! As Elvis used to sing. Well anyway, the lullabies and other lies tour kicks off in Brisbane, QLD on Nov 4th at Clubhouse (@ the Tempo Hotel) and the supports will be re:enactment and Lion Island. That is all. Oh but stay tuned, because we'll be announcing more supports as the week goes by.

On the 21st of September, we bailed out of our Melbourne abode and balled down the M5 all the way to Adelaide. we had our accommodation booked for the night but we were having so much fun stopping along the way to laze in fields and climb hay stacks that by the time we arrived to Adelaide it was well into the 22cnd day, so we picked up our mate Triggy from the airport & crashed at the place we had booked for the 22cnd. We played the thebby that night, drank our gin & got knocked out by the Silversun Pickups set. Brian pulls some amazing varied guitar tones, hip distorted & delay drenched tones. Great dynamic band. So happening, i dug it. We had a a fun time listening to the tight as hell set Birds delivered each night also, its great to see a band from your hometown burnin' down massive venues across the country. Our nights carried out this way for the next two weeks & we stopped in for a gig in Hobart, a city we'd never been before (besides Hamish who spent his first ten years there). What a beautiful city. We drove up some mountain and looked over the city in the cold Tasmanian air, through the fog, over the buildings surrounded by great mountains and a vast of water. Very pretty view. Uh, and we've been living on chocolate bars. James has sussed out how to pick the winning bar so we haven't paid for chocolate in the past month. Sellers of the bars insist James should buy a lotto ticket with his luck after he returns for the fourth time to collect another cherry ripe. Ah, anyway.... rambles....
